Gaslight Theater’s 2025 Season continues in April with Neil Simon’s “Jake’s Women”, directed by Lucille Rioux. The show will be produced at Hallowell City Hall Auditorium at 1 Winthrop Street in Hallowell over two weekends April 11, 12, and 18 at 7:30 PM April 13, at 2:00 PM, two shows on April 19th. 2:00 PM and 7:30 PM. Neil Simon’s “Jake’s Women” is a two act comedy about a novelist named Jake, who is struggling to save his marriage. During the course of the play, Jake talks to many women about their own perspective on his relationship in an attempt to gain insight. Some of these women are real, and some are hallucinations, as Jake suffers from psychosis. Jake’s first wife, who was killed years earlier, is among the women he talks to in the play. This play is a comedy with a witty take on modern relationships.
