... our Evening of One-Acts and maybe, a December surprise

Circle Mirror Transformation

In an artsy Vermont small town, an unlikely collection of strangers sign up for Marty’s “Adult Creative Drama” class: a recently divorced carpenter, a high school junior, a former actress, and Marty’s husband.

What does this motley crew have in common? Very little, or at least that’s what they think until they begin to play Marty’s imaginative (and sometimes awkward) theatre games.

But as their relationships develop over the course of the summer, the seemingly silly games generate some real-life drama.

This delightful comedy from new playwright Annie Baker landed on Top Ten lists of The New York Times and The New Yorker for 2010..

"Circle Mirror Transformation is the kind of unheralded gem that sends people into the streets babbling and bright-eyed with the desire to spread the word. ..”—NY Times

All 2011 evening performances at 7:30 p.m, matinees at 2:00 p.m.
